Sketch and Stash Challenge 51

The challenge at Sketch and Stash this week it to use any of the sketches from the past two years to create a new card. Sketch and Stash has several amazing sponsors this week. I created this card based on sketch 7. I used my brand new Cricut to cut the star and oval. Even though I’ve only cut some basic shapes from George so far I’m loving be able to choose the size and get my cut quickly. This was also created for Caardvarks monochromatic challenge sponsored by Clear and Simple Stamps.

Happy St. Patty’s Day

Happy St Patty’s Day everyone! I’m loving the sunshine today and after being out to run errands and have lunch with my aunt and cousins, I wanted to share this card with you. My cousin is proud to be Irish so I’m always sure to make her a St Patty’s Day card. I love the Basic Grey Origins line for St. Patty’s. This card was made using the Sketch and Stash challenge this week. My Origins paper and stickers have never been used making them perfect for the challenge.

Caardvarks with Sketch and Stash

Caardvarks has teamed up with CARDS magazine to offer an amazing prize of being published in the magazine. The challenge is to make your very best wedding card and you can enter as many cards as you want before the 15th. Now I know my card isn’t the most traditional but I can see if going with so many gifts. Many wedding gifts are things for the home and so I thought of Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey.

I used the challenge over at Sketch and Stash as well. I loved their sketch and knew immediately that I wanted to use the teapot sticker from Nook and Pantry. Last weekend at my LSS I got my hands on lots of new to me BG and this is my first card with the Nook and Pantry collection. I added some faux stitching, a Making Memories rub-on, gems and Stickles for interest. Sketch and Stash is being generously sponsored by Simon Says this week.
Remember to enter to win my blog candy at this post. The more entries the bigger the prize and those who participate at Sketch Girl will get an extra entry if they link up their creation!
