Valentine Set with New Digital Stamp

Today I have a card and video sharing my new Jess Crafts Digitals stamp set Elated Elephant. I create a set of four card using the plain elephant from the set and saved some time by printing it on gray cardstock instead of coloring each elephant in. I have a short video tutorial where I talk about the stamp set but also about the Cards from the Heart card drive which I will donating this set to.

Ocean Critters Series Day 2: Distress Background and Jess Crafts Digital Stamps

Hello crafty friends! Today is the second day in a week long series at my YouTube channel where I will be sharing cards and projects featuring ocean critters. I will also be having a small giveaway for those who leave comments on my videos. I will be using a variety of different ocean critters but today I’m using my very own digital stamps. Coloring a Hedgehog Digital Stamp Freebie for Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Free Coffee Loving Hedgehog Digital Stamp for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. For this round of the blog hop I am sharing a free digital stamp of a hedgehog holding a coffee mug. If you are interested in the digital stamp please scroll down to the picture and right click and choose the option to “save as” and save it to your computer. 

Today’s card features the image so you can get an idea of what it looks like in action. If you use the image I would love to see it of course. The coffee stencil in today’s card us from Create a Smile and the sentiment is from Mint Owl Studio’s Coffee Craze. I will be back throughout the hop with some video tutorials featuring coffee themed products from some of my favorite companies and a video sharing how to color the hedgehog to get the realistic looking variation in the spikes. 

Chinese New Year Card 2016 with Free Digital Stamp

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a video and a freebie for you. I always like to make a Chinese New Year Card for a friend of mine and this year I thought it would be fun to illustrate a little something especially for the occasion and offer it to you free for printing on your own projects. If you don’t need a Chinese New Year Card you can just use the cute little monkey head separately of course by trimming the picture. You can check out the video tutorial and then keep scrolling to download the digital stamp. 

To get the image simply right click and save the picture. The file size should be big enough for most projects. You can then copy it into a word document, resize it and add an additional sentiment if you want before printing. Ombre Watercolor and Embossing Paste Background featuring Jess Crafts Digitals and Simon Says Stamp Stencil

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card featuring my sheep digital stamp from my Jess Crafts Etsy Shop. I started by creating a watercolor ombre background and then layering on embossing paste with the Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts stencil. Check out the video for more complete details.

Tips from this card/video:

Watercolors offer a wide range of color depending on the amount of water added so be sure to take advantage to stretch a small set of colors.

Use foam tape over embossing paste to adhere items flat. 

Use markers to make digital sentiments printed on white match your card.
